　 In April 23rd, the deputy director of China Lin Xu who is Foreign Affairs Office of the State Council department led by overseas Chinese investigation delegation visits Greece, they were also invited to visit Athens city hall by Athens City Council . He also noted that besides the additional to strengthening partnerships in the area of trade, emphasis on cooperation in tourism, transport, culture and other areas will realize the complementary advantages between China and Greece. During the talks, the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office Department of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director Lin Xu said” in long term, overseas Chinese have played an extremely important role as a bridge of communication with the Chinese government. 　
Overseas Chinese have also done a lot of useful work for the friendly relations between China and Greece. He also said that the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council is very concerned about the situation of overseas Chinese in the debt crisis of Greece, he express his thanks to the kind treatment by the Greek government and its people towards Chinese nationals, and created chance for survival and development opportunities for them.。
